Almond flour

I use almond flour which is gluten free and made entirely from white almonds, which contains a lot of nutrients such as fibre, protein, and healthy unsaturated fats. Almond flour also contains large amounts of vitamins, iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium, all of which increase bone mineral density and prevent osteoporosis.

Due to the high amounts of unsaturated fats, almond flour can also prevent the occurrence of cardiovascular diseases and improve the regulation of glucose and insulin distribution in the body (key for people with diabetes). The high fibre content of almond flour also promotes the health of the digestive system and in particular the colon.
